Share your creativity.

We are always looking for ways to uplift local Los Angeles-based artists!

If our mission resonates with you, we would love to connect and explore ways in which we might collaborate.

“I value trust and building relationships, and this is why I love being part of the ABG community.”

Rebeca Diaz-Perez, ABG Artist in Residence

ABG Artist Programs

ABG has three separate Artist programs to allow for emerging, established, and pre-professional artists to refine and share their artistry and creativity while collaborating with and learning from other creatives, practitioners, and culture bearers.

Artists in Residence

Lead role working directly with ABG youth. Artists in Residence are experienced in co-creating safe learning spaces to positively nurture the mental health and self-efficacy of young people while collaborating closely with ABG leadership, program site sponsors, community members, and other ABG Artists in Residence.

Visiting Artists

Artists who support ABG’s core team members with specific projects such as murals, exhibitions, and performances. These Artists have the opportunity to collaborate with ABG while having flexibility in their schedule.

Artists in Training

Young artists who co-lead programs with trained Artists in Residence to better realize the unique perspectives they bring to the Los Angeles arts and culture sector by providing training in artistic skillsets, fostering of new knowledge, and the broadening of their creativity.
